We have a fantastic opportunity for a Development and Resourcing (D&R) Director, who will be responsible for building an operational support function which meets FIECON’s learning, development and resourcing needs, ensuring the company’s goals across various parameters including delivery, recruitment and learning & development, are achieved.

Why join FIECON?

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team full of energy, drive and the passion to make a real difference in the health and quality of people’s lives.

FIECON projects include building economic models, publishing scientific literature, solving complex business challenges, recommending drug launch strategies, developing software and whatever else our clients challenge us with!

What are the key responsibilities of the role?

Learning and development (L&D)

  • Execute FIECON’s L&D plan:
Create a clear, systematic, structured and holistic L&D plan based on FIECON’s overarching L&D strategy, in alignment with the company’s goals, values, and culture.  The L&D plan will support professional development and build capabilities across the company in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Implement a variety of L&D methods and opportunities:
In addition to making formal learning components available (e.g. F2F classroom learning, on demand digital courses, workshops), the D&R Director will design, implement and reinforce interventions to support informal learning, such as coaching and mentoring, on-the-job instruction, leadership shadowing, action-based learning, and lunch-and-learn sessions.  The D&R Director will embrace new digital technology and apply creative tech solutions to L&D at FIECON by keeping up with digital advances (e.g. use of FIECON’s intranet, MS Teams, Smartsheets).

  • Conduct L&D gap analysis and implement individual learning pathways:
In alignment with the Head of Operations and Head of HR, apply a sustainable and systematic approach to assess capabilities and learning gaps across the FIECON team. • Ensure high utilisation across teams:
The D&R Director will help influence the utilisation of available resources to match both business need and the development aspirations of our talented teams.

  • Resource based problem solving:
Proactively identify potential resourcing issues before they arise by having an overview of people’s capacity and project allocations at all times. Quickly and effectively problem solve any issues.

  • Leverage individual’s L&D needs for project resourcing:
